FR. LINUS EVANS EKAI,

CHAIRMAN – COUNCIL BOARD

Fr. Ekai holds advanced degrees in Educational Administration, Theology, and a Diploma in Theology. He brings extensive leadership experience, having served in various educational boards and religious institutions.

Fr. Ekai has developed policies and mobilized funds to support nomadic education.

He is a published scholar and has played key roles in infrastructure development and budget control within Turkana County.

MRS. RUKIA A. SAMAN, COUNCIL VICE-CHAIRPERSON

Mrs. Rukia A. Asman holds a BA in Education and has a rich background in governance, NGO work, and local education initiatives. She specializes in addressing the educational needs of women and girls, ensuring compliance with ministry guidelines.

Mrs. Asman has served as Director of Labor and Social Services in Wajir County, coordinating youth empowerment services. Her expertise in research and community development makes her a strong advocate for marginalized groups.

MR. DANIEL SADAM LETARANGOI,

COUNCIL BOARD MEMBER

Mr. Lentirangoi holds degrees in Education and Theology, and has served in leadership roles within faith-based institutions. He has vast experience in working with youth and communities through the NCCK and faith-based missions.

Mr. Letarangoi is known for his integrity, leadership, and financial management skills, having successfully managed multiple programs. His dedication to education and community service has strengthened his influence across different regions.

MR. ABDINOOR RAGOW ABDIAZIZ,

COUNCIL BOARD MEMBER

Mr. Abdinoor holds a Master’s in Project Planning and a Bachelor’s in Disaster Mitigation. He has extensive experience in sustainable development, emergency education, and resilience programming.

Mr. Abdinoor has led key initiatives, including emergency responses in Wajir and resilience programs for ASAL regions.

His work in strategic risk analysis and stakeholder coordination has been instrumental in shaping Kenya’s national resilience framework.

MS. CATHERINE AMUNGA WAMEYO,

COUNCIL BOARD MEMBER

Ms. Wameyo s a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA in Finance. She has served on NACONEK’s Audit Committee and held leadership roles in corporate services at the National Council for Persons with Disabilities.

Ms. Wameyo has managed human resources, finances, and assets, demonstrating her expertise in organizational management. Her financial and strategic acumen has made her a key figure in audit and selection panels.

MS. NAISETIAI LEMAYIAN, COUNCIL BOARD MEMBER

Ms. Lemayian holds a degree in Criminology and Security Studies and a diploma in Forensic Investigation. She has extensive experience in disaster response, law enforcement, and child welfare, particularly in adoption cases.

Currently volunteering with the Kenya Red Cross, she coordinates disaster rescue operations. Her strong background in legal and investigative processes makes her a critical asset in ensuring compliance and safety.

REV. FR. PAUL KIBET NG’ENO,

COUNCIL BOARD MEMBER

Fr. Paul Kibet Ng’eno holds degrees in Mathematics, Theology, and Philosophy and is pursuing a Master’s in Educational Research. He has served as Deputy Principal and Education Secretary for the Catholic Diocese of Ngong. Fr. Paul is highly experienced in educational planning and chaplaincy programs.

His strategic leadership in academic institutions has significantly contributed to advancing the goals of both the church and educational sectors.

MR. REUBEN KIPTURGO, COUNCIL BOARD MEMBER

Mr. Reuben Kipturgo serves in the State Department for Basic Education. He brings a solid background in education policy, project management, and curriculum development.

Mr. Kipturgo has been involved in several national education initiatives, supporting the ministry’s vision for enhancing education quality.

His expertise ensures the effective implementation of strategic education programs across the country.
